A facelift (rhytidectomy) is an aesthetic surgical procedure that aims to lift and tighten sagging skin and relaxed tissues in the face to achieve a younger, rested, and refreshed appearance.

Clinical assessment, travel planning, and follow-up are presented in one clear, patient-friendly flow.
At NY HEALTH, facelift operations are performed using advanced surgical techniques, and the goal is to create a younger facial contour while preserving natural facial expressions.
Through this procedure, patients achieve aesthetic improvements such as:
Treatment planning, transfers, accommodation, and clinical checks are coordinated in one patient journey.
Suitable candidates for facelift surgery at NY HEALTH are generally individuals who experience signs of aging in the face and neck area and are in good general health.
Although there is no strict age limit, most patients choose this procedure from their 40s onwards due to aging signs such as skin sagging, wrinkles, and volume loss.
Individuals without health problems that could negatively affect healing, such as uncontrolled diabetes or serious cardiovascular diseases, are suitable candidates.
In non-smoking patients, the recovery process is generally faster and the risk of complications is lower.
Facelift surgery at NY HEALTH can be performed without a neck lift procedure depending on the patient's needs.
While facelift operations generally target sagging in the middle and lower face areas, neck lift procedures correct laxity and excess fat tissue under the chin and in the neck area.
If the patient does not have significant sagging or laxity in the neck area, a facelift alone may be sufficient.
Expert surgeons at NY HEALTH perform a detailed evaluation to determine whether the best approach for you is a facelift alone or a combined procedure with a neck lift.
At NY HEALTH, advanced surgical techniques are used to keep scars to a minimum. Incisions are usually hidden in the natural hairline, in front of the ear, and behind the ear.

Comfortable and safe clinic environment
Proper preparation before a facelift (rhytidectomy) operation at NY HEALTH is of great importance for a safe surgery and successful results.
Our expert surgeons evaluate your facial structure, skin elasticity, and general health status. In this meeting, your expectations are discussed in detail to create the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
About 10 days before surgery, the use of medications that can increase bleeding risk, such as aspirin and ibuprofen, and some supplements including vitamin E must be paused (under doctor supervision).
Smoking can negatively affect the healing process and increase the risk of complications. Therefore, it is recommended to quit at least 2 weeks before surgery.
Alcohol should not be consumed for at least 48 hours before surgery. If general anesthesia is to be applied, patients must fast for at least 8 hours.
It is important to arrange a companion to help you during the initial recovery period and plan your return home.
The recovery process after facelift surgery at NY HEALTH progresses gradually and may vary from patient to patient:
10 days): During this period, swelling, bruising, and a feeling of tension in the facial area are normal. The body begins to adapt to the new facial contour.
4 weeks: Swelling and bruising decrease significantly. Most patients can return to light daily activities during this period. Towards the 4th week, the visible effects of the surgery are largely reduced.
8 weeks): By the end of this period, tissues are largely healed and final aesthetic results start to be seen more clearly. The face gains a smoother, firmer, and younger appearance.
